I grew up in the UAE, attending the International School of Choueifat. The kind of school where discipline was the curriculum and you learned early that nobody was going to figure things out for you.
Started in banking. Quickly realized I wanted to be inside the companies, not advising from the outside. Based in New York now, building companies and making things work in places where nothing exists yet.
I've spent my career joining companies early and building the infrastructure that lets them scale. Strategy, operations, fundraising, board management, international expansion. US Mobile, Retailo, Ad-Shield, and now a vertical AI company. The common thread: I show up before structure exists and create it.
Die-hard Real Madrid fan. If there's a match on, nothing else exists. I follow Formula 1 closely too. The intersection of engineering, strategy, and split-second decisions is endlessly interesting to me.
I've been collecting watches since college. Everything from a Casio F91W (still the best beater ever made) to a Tissot PRX.
I cook Pakistani food, usually badly at first and better after enough repetitions. Biryani took the longest to get right.
Played varsity basketball, still pick up games when I can. Got into padel recently. Swimming is the thing I do when I need to think clearly about something hard. I love hiking and traveling. Any chance to explore a new place on foot, I take it.
Let's connect.
Happy to talk about building companies, AI, or anything on this site. If you're hiring for a role where I might be a fit, reach out and I'll send my resume.
